I have recently bought a greddy emanage blue for my civic with a b18c and i was wondering is it worth getting it tuned on an obd2 ecu. because i took it to a honda performance shop in hunnington beach and they said it was junk; to run hondata. becasue with the obd2 ecu since its a learning computer that it will reprogram back to stock settings. i am open to any opinion about the emanage and how do some of you guys like the emanage in your cars. thanks

 

It is a piggyback, or map hack, so it just manipulates the map sensor voltage which really messes up your ignition maps (advances the timming) making it easir to detonate. Read this link and it explains it in more detail.
