Got a D16Z6 and need some experienced input

I have a D16Z6 1.6 that needs a rebuild due to a timing belt breakage. My question, as simple as it may sound, is what kind of mods would someone do to a D series Z6 if it were up to them. I am not experienced in this field, so all the input would be great.

Port/polish the head, high c/rpistons (p29) stage 2 cam and upgraded valvesprings. Of course the I/H/E is a must. Intake manifold would be a nice addition too!
