A D15B Vetch is exactly the same as your D15B7 but with a Z6 head. A.K.A. Mini-me. Every thing is the same except for the head. If your still rockin a stock intake I would highly suggest (if you have the money) to swap it out for CAI or short ram. I recently installed a AEM short ram and now I wonder why I never did it sooner. It's a cheap upgrade that makes a noticable difference. Dizzy will have to be for a Z6 head and so will the timing belt. As far as the intake manifold goes, the head is different in size, but will still work with the Z6 head (all intake manifolds are interchangable). If you can pick up a Z6 intake manifold for cheap then by all means put it in (increases flow), but is not manditory.

your are very wrong here
the timing belt for a jdm d15b is a VX timing belt. THe valve cover is TBD but is most likely the Z6 cover. THe oil pan gasket i think is for a VX if i remember correctly.... it has been a few months. THe plugs are much colder than anything you can normally find, so if you are going turbo i would research find plugs for it first. Stock replacements are not difficult to find.

Considering that with a B7 block Z6 head (true mini-me), he would not be running a VX head; He will need a Z6 timing belt for a Z6 head. The VX timing belt has 103 teeth, Z6 104 and B7 belt 106. The VX timing belt will be to tight and cause it to whine. The Z6 is the right timing belt to use with a b7 block/Z6 head combination. If you don't believe me then check out this write-up and I have also done the mini-me conversion. If you have a B15B7 then what I have said above would be correct.

Re: d15 general question (Bond)
HE HAS A D15B HE IS PUTTING IN HIS DX, WHICH ORIGINALLY IS A D15B7 EQUIPED VEHICLE. READ THE ORIGINAL POST!
he is not doing a mini-me. he is doing an entire swap. A JDM d15b takes a VX timing belt. If he were doing a mini me that would be a different story, but he is just doing a swap and wants to take care of the wearable stuff before he puts the engine in.
