Default question about my d16z6

i got a d15 now 92 civic 4 dr. i have another motor sitting around.....a d16z6 it needed a head gasket so i got the gasket and all the other seals and stuff. now i have the head in the machine shop, going to be port and polished. i also want to but some aftermarket head stuff in it since i already have it out. i plan on going all motor....so far i want to put in it:
titanium valve spring and retainers
Crower Stage 1 Cam
-what else would be good for it?
and also do i need to change the fuel map or timing? can i use the stock ecu?

You should probably change your fuel maps/timing to go with the new cam.

If you have the money you could also get some aftermarket pistons to raise that compression.

i got a similar z6 setup going and would recommend the zex 59300 cam. That thing screams above 4k. I also have a port and polish and some fuel and fire upgrades. Good luck on the single slam.

yea the zex cam is very decent. if you go crower, get the stage 2, dont waste your money on the stage 1. if you are real serious about staying all motor, then get some pm6 pistons out of the d16a6 motor. you can get them from http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com for like 35 or so bucks each. installed with a resurface mill on your head and you should have a compression ratio in the mid to upper 10:1 range, which is decent. also, aftermarket intake manifold like skunk2 or blox if they make one for the sohc will help. this setup with a decent chip in the ecu( yea youll need a chip to raise up the rev limit to around 7800, dont go much higher though, and add a lil fuel) should put you in the 140-150 whp range give or take
