Somebody give me advice! Ok people I have a B20 Vtec don't know much about them but common sense tells me maybe I need to chance out my oil rings. If anybody can relate to this and give me some advice or tell me if it is what I think it is. Got some white smoke coming from the nipple on the vavle the cover facing the intake manifold. What I'm not sure of if its oil or fuel. It have a rich oily fuel smell so I'm not sure what it is exactly. i'm guessing oil. I heard the ls setup has alot of blow by issues and easily busted rings do to the unusual setup. So if anyone knows alot of this topic please give me any advice that could help me more understand this motor setup just a little more than what I know.

 

White smoke usually meets burning coolant, Where is the smoke comming from?

 

does your engine over heat? whats you oil look like? Chocolate milk? sounds to me head gasket time. or worse....

ok the smoke is coming from the nipple port on the valve cover the remember its a b20vtec I just changed the oil so the oil is good I don't know what it is but I have oil leaking somewhere on the front of the block I don't know if its coming from the head gasket or the dipstick????

 

bad rings,bent valves.

 

I figured bad rings already and had a feeling the vavles are either bent like you say or need ajustment. Don't know still havn't taken it apart yet. Ill keep this updated.
