obd0 to obd1
Hey everyone I need a bit of help I have soch vtec in my ef I just did the obd0 to obd 1 but i still dont have vtec ok everyone told me to run the 2 line from the ecu to the solenoid ? can some explain that ........ pic?? could be helpful... thanks in advance
I'll bump your thread. I feel your pain. I know nothing about d-series stuff in regards to wiring them.
It would be nice if you were to post specifics such as which ecu you are taking out, which ecu you are putting in (not just the fact that it's an OBD1 ecu), which car more specifically in regards to year, if it was a DPFI car originally, auto or manual, which motor, whether any of your parts are JDM or USDM such as the ecu (just for any little difference that there might be, which is good to know) etc, etc, etc.
The more info these people see, the better your chances are at getting great info.

The easiest way to wire vtec would be to run a single wire to your vtec solenoid from the vtec ecu pin. Then simply run a wire from the vtec pressure switch pin to the vtec solenoid wire (bypassing the vtps switch).
