Golden Eagle MFG.
I was just wondering what those of you that have dealt with Golden Eagle think about their customer service? Up until this point I thought they were great! (As long as You don't talk to Ted Tiaga! He's very unprofessional!) Vince is a realy cool guy, but seems to be powerless when it comes to making decisions.
I had a bad experience with them today, but I'm giving them the chance to make it right before I tell the whole story.

We have had nothing but good relationship with Golden eagle since last racing season. Vince is a great person, and there turn around time is better than most places. It took them less than a week to sleeve two of our blocks. If you had a bad expierence with them let them know and Im sure they would take the neccesary steps to correct it.

vince is ted's son. be patient with them. they do a hell of a job.. but they always have a pile of blocks there waiting to be sleeved so things get hectic.
Still no response from Golden Eagle!I have provided a full detailed and proven reply to Ted's email, and he still apparently thinks that they did nothing wrong by charging me 2 CODs on fully prepaid blocks that I had done by them! I got them last Friday, and found a COD attatched to them in the amount of $39 each even though everything was fully paid for up front!!! (I even have the receipts from the Money Orders!) But Ted will not believe me and seems to basically not even acknowledge me anymore!
I still have 2 more blocks at GE, So what do I do now?
If its worth it to them to lose a very good customer over $78 (thats not even theirs!), they have a major problem!!! Especially since that is block 4 and 5 that they still have of mine, and I have many more coming in soon!
Maybee they already forgot how they got where they are today...
I'm still hoping that Ted will lose his attitude, and be the professional that he should be, because so far their work has been great, and I would like to continue doing business with them.

I had a great experience with Ted. When I was down there he gave me a tour of the shop, and filled me in on all the stuff Golden Eagle manufactures. Sorry to hear you ran into problems...

I finally got Ted to send me back the COD check, but now he is telling me I owe them $91 for who knows what!
He still thinks that I have only done 4 blocks with them, when in fact I have done 5, which is where he comes up with me owing more than I really do, but I still don't see where he gets that figure, since every block you do with them drops $33 off the next one and so on.
He says he's tired of MY ATTITUDE! And that the blocks were no being shipped until he gets the $91!!! (that I do not owe them!!!)
I don't know what his problem is, but if any of you ever deal with GE talk to Vince!!! (If Ted will let you)
Vince, if you read this, which you probably will, Thanks for your proffessionalism and attitude, and go rub off on your father so he will be more like you
