Yeah kind of, 2.2 I believe Bart is the guy with expedition with the supercharger on it?

A big misconception is that a 100 shot equals 100 extra horsepower. The actual horsepower increase will depend on the mixture, the type of setup, the motor, the modifications, and just about everything else. Some friends and I just dyno'd a Prelude the other day with the usual bolt-on's and a single jet wet nitrous kit: with a 50 shot we averaged a 31 horsepower gain. With a 100 shot, we averaged a 63 horsepower gain. Just please be sure to double check the fuel and make sure you are getting enough.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Thats pretty bad if hes getting 63hp out of a 100 shot. Sounds like he needs to make sure his bottle pressure is up and then lean it out a bit.

I emailed NOS about this before for a ls motor. They only mentioned that a 150shot is max. for the single wet fogger. They gave me a bunch of jet settings for different shots 100 and 125 shots were included, so I think if you have enough fuel, you'll be fine, otherwise I think NOS wouldn't give out jetting for motors which they know will blown.

BTW, I told them this was for a stock motor.

Ive seen it happen in real life too, once my friend did it too. Ive squeezed up to 175 shot, and nothing even happened. not even a screw fell of the manifold. Holy **** youve got to be kidding me. Please tell me honda-tech isnt goin down the ******* with ridiculous information like this?

Anyways, a 100 shot will be pushing it but with proper fuel (injectors, fpr etc) and good tuning it is possible.. It sounds like you should research way more before you throw a 100 shot on your motor.

everyone is adressing the amount of juice but i'm yet to hear how you are applying it...... if you are going to squeeze into the intake piping then i'd say go ahead, pop your motor, it's not my problem. but honestly, a direct port setup is going to take it if your motor is right and you tune it properly. when i say poperly i would have egt's on all exhaust ports and put her on the dyno to tune it in, but i'm sure their are other ways. nitrous express also has the new nos/fuel rail for direct port that i'd look into. not sure what applications they have available, but they are out there. NOS also has NOSzles that are a pretty good idea, just a lil more expensive. tapping the ITM isn't hard, just time consuming and you have to take it off.

-Erik &lt;--- who'd spray a DP 100 with no worries on a honda, if tuned

Yeah I go down sometimes, I"ve been down their lately since I"m home from college. Really hasn't been anything to wild down their though, probably because everyone is building their monsters up in their garge.
