Default getting pretty pissed off already

Ok, so I have this socketed ecu, the first chip I had can idled fine and ran fine but wouldn't go over 4000 rpms, this new chip I just got the car won't even start!

But the car runs perfect on the stock ecu and carrys out the rpms like it should. What the hell could be wrong??

my buddy told me it may be because uber isn't all that great some times. He said he went through two chips before switching to crome and crome worked fine.

No the stock chip in the socketed ecu. The ecu could have been damaged when it was socketed.

I would put the stock chip in the socketed ecu to make sure the ecu is ok.

so basically you are telling us you want a best guess chip to run on a untuned turbocharged vehicle. thats real smart. run on the stock ecu to drive to your tuner. be mature and dont drive like an asshat there. drive only in vacuum. get tuned and then beat on the car.

and take out your WG spring, that way you will never see anymore boost than atmospheric pressure. no matter how hard u try.

Go get your car tuned. you and your engine will be glad after a good tune

Good point, Or I could pop off a intercooler pipe. So I can't see boost.

I would rather prefere taking out the wastegatespring, if you only "pop off" your IC piping, the turbo can be damaged by over reving.
