gearing questions

If you put an LS tranny in a B16, would you fall out of VTEC after each shift from redline?
I'm pretty sure VTEC on a B16 engages at 5500 RPM, correct me if I'm wrong.

What RPM do you guys fall from redline, on a B16 motor with stock tranny, and what RPM would you fall with the LS tranny?

I hope you guys can understand my post.

Well sorry I forgot to mention if someone were to boost, and want to stay in boost longer. Yes I know you actually accelerate faster in the B16 tranny, but think about 20 pounds of boost and how fast you'll be going through gears. Plus you'll benefit with gas mileage.
