Icon2 Gauge Cluster Problems

TL;DR: Tach works, not sure on temp gauge, no speedo/odo, no gas gauge. All lights on dash work when key turned to run. No CEL.

Long version:

Hey everyone. Just picked up a '95 Accord DX that had a bad igniter. PO's replaced most of the ignition system (coil, cap, rotor, wires, I got it new plugs). Started, but noticed the only gauge I had working was the Tach. No CEL lights or error codes, but the lights do come on when I first turn the key to run, as they should. Tach works, temp sensor twitches it seems (haven't ran it long enough to see if it will go on, but it moves about 1/8" when key turns to run, so not sure on this one). No fuel gauge, no odometer, no speedometer. No CEL. Tapped the blue/white wire underneath the steering column and hooked it up to my multimeter on the HZ selection and drove it a little, noticed that it was sending pulses (so that should be a good VSS if I did pick the right wire).

Bad ground somewhere? Should I pull the cluster and give it a go-over with a soldering iron, or try and find the ground points?
