Bumper Bolt
Trick question? You use a Hex or a Torx to remove it depending on what it actually is. Without posting a pic I don't know how you expect an accurate answer.
Beacuse a technician, who works on the car everyday, will know what size tool is needed to remove the bolt. For instance, if the car was a 2012 Honda, the technician will know from experience that you need a 10MM socket to remove the bumper bolt.

Can the attitude. You don't even know what you have on there. And to top it off you said it's not stock because they have been "changed to something else". So how is a tech supposed to know what's on there now? You cannot even tell us if it's a Torx or a Hex bolt.
A 10mm bolt probably transfers to an M6 hex. People can only guess.
Advice? Stock your toolbox better.

No. You said it was changed and you didn't know to what. I'm guessing you don't have a decent tool set that you can just figure this out on your own? That you don't even know on sight if the bolt on it now is hex or Torx doesn't help, regardless if it changed from '12 to '13 (but you know that it did?). Perhaps you need to invest in a field service manual? Or better yet, just call up a Honda dealer parts department? Or go to someplace like hondaautomotivepartsonline and look up the part?
