Funky starting problem... slow main relay?
Well i'm wonder what would cause the main relay to take atleast a second or two before it clicks. If you get in the car, and just try and start it, the engien will just turn over and not start. If you sit and wait for the relay to click it will start. Can this be the sign of a failing fuel pump or could it be the main really taking a dump. ITs also like 2 degrees over here, but i did just replace the battery.

Yea thats what was i thinking, in the summer i had the same issue but sometimes the car wouldnt turn over at all. The main relay did nothing , and the starter wouldnt turn, but then sometimes it worked just fine. At that point i just replaced the battery and it was fine ever since. Now i'm just wondering the cold has anything to do the main relay. I might just bite the bullet and get a new one.

No, don't bother wasting your money on a new relay. You have dry joints, take it apart and check to see if that is the problem(probably is) and repair it. I had the same problem and this is what i did with mine and it works perfectly now.
