Default main relay.

ok , i put a new fuel filter on my car i started it up and it ran for 2 minutes and shut off and now it won't start. now i am having problems with my fuel pump, it won't prime my car unless i jumped my main relay, i checked the relay with a voltage meter and everything and it worked. so i put it back on my car and i turn the key for the ignition and there is no click , next click is for the enging light and that clicks , and the last click i don't hear. i took out the relay and checked the board for cracks or anything and there is nothing wrong with it. am i not getting power to it? can anyone help me plz? is there another relay i should look for, other than the main relay? any help plz. thanks
