310's to 370's depending on head porting/exhaust should be sufficient

Hey whats up man. I'm interested in the ls vtec motor you are selling in your other thread I just cant post there cause im new on hondatech. I was wondering if you would be able to give me some more information and a list of mods that are done to the motor? I got a 97 Integra and I blew my head gasket so I was lookin to get a new motor. I was gonna do a JDM Type-R swap but they are really expensive for a stock motor so I thought maybe I could find a hooked up one for the same price.

Well I think i found a type-r engine for a fairly good price. I might be getting that one but if I end up not getting it then I will def give you a call. I can't message you back though because I don't have IM yet... still a noob, lol. I found a nice one from Japan for $4,000.

what would your friend tune with? if you have enough confidence in him not to blow up your engine, go at it.
