Default fuel question TECHS PLEASE ANSWER

hello gents.. i was wondering if i use low lead 100 octane if it would hurt my car aka airplane fuel.. i would mix it with 94 octane.. fill my car with a qt tank of 94 t hen add a few galons of 100... would tis hurt my car???

i think the lead would hurt your damage your o2 sensors. Thats all i know that it would do. I don't know about motor performance

its not going to "hurt" anything but will shorten the life of the o2 sensor and clogg the cat (if you have one).

DO NOT use 100LL in your car. Aside from killing your O2 sensor and messing up your plugs, your car won't run very well, and the LL fuel will leave all kinds of gunk in your motor, mixed or not. If you want more octane, use octane booster.

You'd be better off buying race gas. Why do you want to run aviation gas?

In addition to ruining you cat and O2 sensors quickly, it also doesn't have the distillation curve as gasoline used in automobiles. An airplane runs it engine at a constant speed for long periods of time whereas a car does not. I believe ercracingfuels.com has info on that.
