Default fuel pump and relay problem please help. read the archives

i was driving the car normally today and did not race it at all today. then suddenly the car just lost power. i would give it gas and nothing. check engine light came on and it died and i had to roll into a parking lot. i tried starting it and it just cranked. the check engine light is not throwing any codes it is staying solid.

my main relay is not comingon clicking or anything. i have two 95 gsr's side by side. i took the relay out of the working car and put it in the turbo not running car. switched both relays and its not the relays cause the stock car still runs. ive read all the archives on this problem. the car is getting power to all lights and everything. the car is cranking but wont start. could my battery not be making enought power that everything else works but not the relay. please give any advise you might have. put new spark plugs in. could it be the distributor. im not very technically advanced but its got to be a minor problem that with the right advice i could get it working. what exactly makes the relay work. all fuses are good and none of them are blowing.

i now have fire to the ignition and the spark plugs, just not much to the plugs. im going to change out the icm today.ignition control module. if this works then what happened was i fried the ignition some how probably heat, which then killed the icm, which would not give spark to anything and would not let the relay click then no power to fuel pump. if this sounds like the right chain of events please someone let me know. otherwise i might have problems somewhere else.
i do know that my msd was not getting power before. we stuck a test light in the end of the msd with the black plug and got nothing. now just putting new msd in we stuck test light in black plug and it makes weird noise and we see sparks coming out of the cap where the coil wire goes to the cap.

Hey, you should check the ground to your Main Relay. The the thicker Black one.

Connect another wire to the ground and try to start it.

Might work, it did for me.

Also, check your Alternator solinoid Fuse under the dash.

Hope this help.

Also--what set up are you running.

i'm having that problem now... its definately not the distributor... just recently, my car shut off and i'm pretty sure its fuel related... because i didnt hear the fuel pump engage until i turned the key to the 2nd **** for the 5th time... and once it engaged i was able to start my car.... but who knows, it could be anything that has to do with the fuel pump... or alternator

I have that same problem right now~! I was stranded for a little and my friend had starter fluid...sprayed it into the intake and started the car at the same time...it turned over and stayed on til I went home.

This morning, came to turn on the car and it would not start... Could this be a fuel pump relay or main relay problem. Oh yeah....when I turn the car *ON* I hear the fuel pump...but when I look at my ECU....the light stayed on. Any ideas? Got any updates?
