Default Fuel pump not priming; no start.

So I was messing with the wires leading to the fuel pump and caused a short; I heard a distinct electrical load and pop from the front passenger side. Checked fuses; replaced main relay; fuel pump is still not priming. I can hear the main relay clicking though. Did I kill the ECU or is there something else I should be looking at?

There should be a fuse in between the fuel pump and the ecu, which would probably be the ecu fuse in the engine bay fuse box assembly. In addition to checking that fuse you can also check the main relay and the ecu for burned spots.
