Default ignition switch question

Every now and then my car wants to break up while I'm driving, like misfire nonstop, and the other day when I was working on it I went to start it and all my lights went off like when the switch is bad. This is the first time its done that since I got the car up and running in the first place. And after I went and disconnected/ reconnected the battery it started up fine, drove, turned off and turned back on again fine.
Is it possible that its going out and that's why its breaking up while driving? Even though it always wants to start except that one time?

Sounds like you need to check all the wires and connections under hood. Its as if something got disconnected while you were driving and that was the cause of these symptoms.

I'm pretty sure my ecu is no longer good. I had my radiator fan hard wired and didn't pull codes before disconnecting battery last time this happened.
It started breaking up today and I checked the codes and all I get is a solid cel. Hopefully I can find my spare ecu and this fixes everything.

There is a REAL common problem with Honda motors with their plug wires down inside the valve covers. In the begining you will get a condition just like you are describing, eventually it will act up under hard accelerations and hill climbing. You can temporarily wrap the plastic boot extension inside the head with electrical tape (lots) about 6-10 wraps and see if it goes away. I have repaired MANY wires like this to diagnose similar problems.
