Fuel problem..searched and tried everything...please help!!!
Hey guys, Im hoping someone can help me out here. My car will NOT start. Its a 93 Integra with a B18C1. It is getting spark definitely and everything else is working, but the fuel pressure is very low, around 20-24 psi, too low to start. The pump is a brand new Walbro 255, and it is priming as normal. I had a B&M FPR on it, but swapped out to my friend's AEM with no luck, so its not the FPR. I obviously have a gauge, so I keep priming and priming with no luck. I took the return line off thr FPR, and not a drop came out after priming it over and over??? Fuel filter is brand new also, OEM. Anyone have any ideas? Please help me here, Im supposed to be getting tuned in a few days (car is running as stock right now though, dont worry)!
No absolutely not, the car ran fine for about a week. I took the pump out today and everything looked OK, the sock was fine and all the wiring. Like I said, it primes, but shows very low pressure at the rail, around 20 psi. Anyone?
OK guys, I checked everything over and over today and realized there was pressure, but air, not fuel. So I filled up the tank (even though it was 1/4 full) and it started up after a few tries. I dont know if that was it or not. I will post back after a couple rides to let youi guys know the outcome...
check for voltage drop at the pump plug if you have for example 3 volts reading then you have resistance on the circiut, another problem could be your FPR could be faulty try a stock unit.
