Fuel comsumption problem
Hi all brothers...I just bought a used 96 civic...I find out that the car kinda fuel consume a lot like in highway 450km for 1 tank of gas...in town kind of like around 400km= .=" I just replace the new fuel filter, spark plug and spark plug wire....I am thinking if the O2 sensors have problem..but the engine check light does not up and the code is 0....the engine has 250xxx on it...so what else do I need?>

do a compression leak down test. you could be losing compression in one or more cylinders. less output from your motor could cause u to be harder on the gas pedal making fuel comsumption above average
never know, thats the first thing that came to mind. you got any better ideas?
btw did you change your air filter?
edit: it could just might be your o2, but youll need a scanner with a live data feature like the one at my shop. try the right forum
