fuel cell question
Need help, I was planning on running a 10 gal. fuel cell w/ a GM sending unit which use's 0-90 ohm sender, and I want to use the factory fuel gauge but the problem is it use's 4-112 ohms, is there a way that I can use a resistor to up the ohms, so that I can use the factory fuel gauge? I know that the stock sender is 2-5 ohms full and 105-112 ohms empty, the thing is I don't know which way the GM sender work's as far as if the 0 ohm is the empty or full. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Why not just meter the output from the sending unit in the fuel cell so you know how it works.
Try connecting it to the stock gauge and see what it registers when float is at the bottom/middle/top. 94
