Friggin' OBDII (tuning)
Well, got myself a SMT5 for tuning... u can edit MAP and ignition signals.
Anyhow.. tried now to lean somewhat mixture at low throttle/low rpm's, to find out that it's impossible.
Why? Cause stoopid OBD2 ECU tried to keep it at stoic A/F ratio!
For instance... I keep throttle at ~10% and rpm's at ~3000rpm (not in gear), and try to reduce fuel - rpm's go down a little... but soon, they go up again! And o2 readings are again same as were before - thus meaning ECU added fuel to compensate for o2 readings, even though I reduced MAP signal for 10% (that was just to test)!!!
Friggin' OBD2.. grrr....
Anyhow.. it it possible to run engine with o2 sensor disconnected? Or should I make something to fool it as if it's present?

Your CEL will come on.. you can get a fake O2 sensor that give a fulty reading but depending on what the reading is the ECU will try to adjust accoredingly..
Your having about the same trouble as me. I have a 1999 Civic as soon as i installed a new CAI and 2.25" exhaust the ECU wants to idle the car at 200 - 300rpm.. as soon as you try to adjust it the ECU sets it back low until finally it throws CEL code 14 idle air valve error.

Have you tried to detach o2 sensor?
.. well, will try tomorrow and see what happens.
But, if it will throw CEL - isnt it possible to 'fake' fixed voltage that o2 should send before it warms up - and keep that fixed voltage all the time making ECU think o2 sensor is not wamr enuff, and thus bypassing its readings?
Just wondering.... because that o2 sensor really ***** up things
