Default formula for compression ratio

who has the formula you use to get your compression ratio? i planning on using usdm del sol b16 pistions, im looking for some thing in the 11's i just dont what to get em in there and then find out that i have like 10.2.1 compression. thanks

If you measure with the motor together:
It's simply the volume of the cyl at bottom dead center divided by the vol at top dead center. Measured in cc's or cubic inches, it doesn't matter.

If you measure with motor apart:
comb. chamber cc's + gasket cc's + deck Cl cc's + (Displacement x 4.0967)
divided by:
comb. chamber cc's + gasket cc's + deck Cl cc's
