Icon2 FLOWMASTER muffer sound/noise level

i am thinking of putting a flowmaster on my car and i was wondering if anyone here has had any experinece with them.
i purchaced a flowmaster 40 series their "off road application" muffler

i have herd them on many domestic's and liked their tone because they dont rob the natural sound/tone of the motor
but i have never herd one on a honda before.

i plan on running no cat or resonator. only the 40 series flowmaster muffler
was the exhaust too loud? opinions welcome

will sound raspy without a cat and resonator.
40 series are loud but not their loudest. my dad has 2 of them on his car sounds really aggressive at WOT.

40 series sound pretty good, had one on my d16z6 civic si, 2.5 piping, 2.5 cat, 2.5 resonator, 2.5 muffler...imho it sounded like **** once the cat was removed after the car passed emissions...too raspy...I added two more resonators and it made it better, but it never sounded as good as it did when it had a cat
