Default Muffler ?

What muffler will sound good with 2.5 inch stainless piping. No cat No resonaters. I dont really care how loud it is because obviously it will be loud basicly i just dont want that tin can sound. Im having a hard time finding anything because most exhausts that sound good were designed to be used with a cat and resonater. Any help would be great

with out cat and resonator pretty much any exhaust will sound raspy and really loud. I would also recommend at least putting on a highflow cat for our environments sake.

I have no cat and my car's not raspy at all, but that is probably because I have two decent sized resonators. When I removed my cat the sound was basically the same the only difference was 3 decibels at a constant 4,000rpm not under load (from 89 to 92) and a very nice power increase. I went from a stock cat to a magnaflow hi-flow cat and noticed a marginal difference, then from the hi-flow to a test pipe, and felt a very noticeable difference, especially from 4 grand to redline. The only time my cat goes in is during emissions testing

EDIT: Having no resonators will sound like absolute ****. Get atleast one resonator put in the system and then a decent muffler (ES Racing Oval, MagnaFlow, OBX twin loop, etc...)
