Default flooding

I notice my intake manifold flowing over with fuel not from trying to start it but from just having the key in the "ON" or "II" position on the ingnition switch. my buddy thinks it might be a leaky injector and that fuel is getting past it even while its not running my thoughts are that the ecu is telling the injectors to dump all the fuel in but i dont know much about the sensors and the ecu itself can anybody help?

If you can hook a fuel pressure gauge up to the system and see if it drops down quickly after priming it. If that is the case you have a leak somewhere, which could be an injector like you said. Do any of your plugs look fouled out? See if you can pinpoint the injector responsible. They can hang open and leak even without current, and a pressure gauge would let you know that.
