Default field vtec controller question

alright so i have it all installed- and ive set vtec at 6000 it kicks in hard but then at 6500 it like hits rev limiter... whats that all about? anybody have any ideas?

ive increased my fuel by 20% at 6000 RPMS up tp 8000
anybody have an idea?

oh and im running a stock obd1 gsr ecu.. i dont think that could do it because before when vtec was set lower it would climb past 8000 RPMs but vtec would bog when set so low... maybe ill go lower on vtec-

the first time i installed it i left the vtec pressure switch wire connected to the ecu and vtec kept kicking in at normal 4500-- so i re read the instructions which say to disconnect the pressure switch wire from the ecu... im wondering what else i have overlooked.. there were extra wires i guess for obd2 etc and the mitsubitshi vtec- it wasnt alot of wiring really-

also im running a gsr engine harness on my b16 would that do anything?
its a stock b16 with buddy club spec 3 plus cams gsr tranny- obd1 in a 95 integra-
any information would help.. ive been having problems with vtec since i installed everything

rev limiter still kicks in at 6500 no matter what i set the fuel at-- ive tried different vtec settings as well... if i leave the vtec pressure switch hooked up to the ecu vtec only kicks in at stock settings....

ok i hooked the vtec pressure switch wire back up to the ecu -- vtec now will only kick in at stock 4500 and i cannot controll it, but now the rev limiter is back to normal.. what to i do to get my vtec working and have no rev limiter....

man your... probably SPLICING INTO the wires when your suppose to CUT them and then tie them together... I've had a kid do that and FRIED his Fields VAFC ... try rewiring again bro... or take it to a local import shop or something they shouldnt charge but 50-100 to install... i charge 80bucks i know thats a rip off but whos helpping pay my bills??
