When the ECU determines that more or less fuel needs to be added to the mixture, how does it actually modify it's output pulses to control the injectors?
Does it hold the "open" pulse longer, to allow more fuel to enter?

Also, about how many times per second does an injector actually go through it's open and close cycle. Just a ballpark answer is fine.
