I'm interested to know more also, are you asking about the crane/ferrea roller followers? They sure look nice

Just changing the valves isnt going to increase your redline capability...i assume your replacing the springs and retainers also?? The spring stiffness and retainers is what will determine your redline

What does it matter if you're staying with the GSR cams? Why should they make power past a stock redline?

I agree you probably won't make power above 8300-8400 rpm - if that

i'm not saying that i'll make more power cause of the cams, i was just stating what is going in the head setup.. and with a sc61 on my engine, i think the more rpm i can pull out the motor the better it is.. i was asking what possibly the redline would be. since i upgraded pretty much everything

if you are going to increase you redline...you should probably be upgrading your rods and pistons(lighter and stronger)...otherwise you run the risk of your engine going on melt down because of the increased piston speed.

1. it's retarded to rev a stock cam higher than natural red line
2. not sure about the spring rates, or bind- but I'd guess 10k
3. dyno the car with your set up and that will tell youexactly where to rev to

Dont mean to steal your thread, and I dont have helpful info. But you did bring up the question of changing cams on a B16 head. Well just in case anyone who is thinking of going with that setup, I have some cams for sale ----> https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=624386
