Default fast question

i just bought a new dizzy (0bd1 jdm b16 head ) part number td44u .. the dizzy that WAS on the motor had a part number td 84u. i did some searching and thats for an obd2 gsr or type r. my motor is in a crx converted to obd1 with a chipped p28. now im throwing a check engine light. im almost 99% positive i got the wrong dizzy, i brought it to the local shop and they said that they could rewire a bunch of things and rechip the ECU to make the new dizzy ( td44u- obd1 b16 dizzy ) to work with no check lights. but depending on how hard the work is he said it COULD be 300 dollars. so should i just order a nother (td84u) dizzy for a obd2gsr for like 160 or do u think it will be pretty easy for the shop to rewire for the dizzy i bought and installed (td44u - obd1b16 dizzy )

thanks

Fast question or not, it still took time to click and read it. Sorry, I don't have an answer. But... in the future, how about at least providing a hint about your question... something like "can u rewire a obd2 dizzy to work on an obd1 head ? "

(Bump for you anyway)
