Can this work? Will this work? (dizzy question)
I picked up a jdm d15b vtec head for my A6 I want to keep obd0 (or at least for now) But my dizzy dosne't sit flush with the new head. I can get two of the three legs to line up. But I can't seat it all the way against the head. So if I were to pick up an Obd1 dizzy could I use that? I think I saw a a thread some place that they have the same pin count (My current dizzy is for the si think is't td-02u or somthing like that to lazy to check but will if someone wants to know for sure) just square plugs. Thanks folks.

Re: Can this work? Will this work? (EnSAn)
If it doesnt sit flush with the head you need to turn the dist shaft 360 deg. The end of the dist has a sort-of notched round keyway that wont sit flush if installed wrong. This prevents it from being installed incorrectly and timing being horribly off. The OBD1 dist wont work with the obd0 ecu. The electronics internally are read differently on the obd1 dist compared with the obd0.
