Failed smog again!

Finally PASSED!!! i am so relieved.
heres what i did:
1)I bought some denatured alcohol from home depot for $10.
put about 1/2 a quart in my gas tank( my tank was half full w/ 91 octane)
2) drove on the freeway for a while to get the cat nice and warm then filled
up my tank w/ 91 octane before i tested.
3) retarded my timing to 15 degrees.
Now i dont have to worry about smog for another 2 years.
