Default Factory titanium retainers?

I just got my head done, new crower retainers and springs and my installer told me that the stock retainers from my B16a1 head look like they could be titanium. They are very light too. Did honda offer these in japan? My springs are normal- double intake, single spring exhaust.

Thanks!

Well if they were aluminum wouldn't they have some sort of scarring on them by now. There is no sign of wear.
