Default external coil

my 1st gen crx has ew4. it has an external ing coil already from factory.
what would it take to replace with aftermarket? has extra wires on it and don't know what there for?

can't see it right now, i think one maybe tach and others??????
but this is factory external coil, not like othe "B"'s and stuff.

mate,

i reckon it should be bolt-on.

just make sure before you take hte factory coil off, you mark which wire connects to the + post on the coil and which one is - post

actually, just mark hte + wire so you dont get mixed up

then just disconnect the leads and bolt-in!

then you will be sweet as sugar,

the above post only applies if there are 3 wires from your coil:

+ & -

and spark.
