Putting MSD coil in ?
Its easy, it has a power and a ground and a port for the plug wire. Just disconnect the stock one cut off the plug astrip it and plug it in the coil. Should be pretty easy for you
4 wires on factory 5th gen, 3 wires on basic aftermarket coils. 2 of the factory coils are common, so...... piece of cake...
Post your generation (4th, 5th, etc.), and I'll find out which wires go where.
(I gotta keep editing THIS post for a while since being a newbie doesn't allow you to post more than 5 things in a 24-hour period)

There's 3 wires that go into the factory coil. Two get spliced together to go to +, the other goes to negative. The colours of the factory wires are different if you have a 5th Gen or 4th Gen. Tell him what Gen you have and he'll tell you where to connect the wires.

You don't have to cut the plug off (I did though), you can just use male spayed connectors and plug them into the plug that goes to the coil. The two fat wires one yellow and the other black with yellow stripe get put together and sent to the + terminal on the MSD coil. The other wire is blue or green, mine was blue (1992 Si) and that get connected to the - terminal on the coil. I just put on the MSD 6A and MSD blaster 3 this weekend, works really well.
I wouldnt do it but 92 4ws was right on the connections. I did the same thing on my 95 and the coil kept blowing my ignition control module. So I'm back to stock till I can afford a full ingition system.
Good luck with the coil... Mine burned out after 6 months and the car just stalled in traffic. (Very hard to troubleshoot) Fuel / Spark??? Which one?
Anyway, you will get a good workout when you are pushing the 3000lb car off to the side of the road. (Like I did)
