i'm pretty new to the world of mods. i'm tired of my tiny *** pea shooter stock muffler. anyone have any suggestions as to what i should do? Mind you, I own a 96 civic hb, w/ all stock parts except for suspension. i'm not really looking into performance because i have a stock engine, so there's not much point until i get an engine swap. should i go with just a muffler? or should i do full exhaust change inlcuding cat? what brands/ exhaust systems do you guys recommend?

 

Brands such as GReddy and Apexi are really good but also really pricey. I would recommend going to your local reputable exhaust shop and get them to custom make you a exhaust. You can go with a high flow converter and pick your own muffler . If you do go the custom route you definately want a resonator so it won't sound farty and I would not go anything bigger than 2.25 inch pipeing
