Yes i searched but i didnt find anything that answered my specific needs...
Ok...I have a 99 si and am wondering would it be worth it to have a header-back custom exhaust installed with the stock muffler. I know the stock mufflers are designed to be quiet so would the exhaust be relatively quiet?
Also Would the Stock muff hinder performance if i were to get 2.5 inch custom full exhaust.
Last is besides how long they will last, how much more performance do you get out of a prefab stainless steel polished exhaust than a Custom exhaust form a shop.

 

you dont want to re-use the stock muffler. your best bet would be to buy on ebay a magnaflow muffler (or rice can whatever you want) and take it to a muffler shop and have them make you a 2.5 inch exhaust.


bottom line dont re-use your stock muffler. sux hard.
