as far as tint goes, you can have them a dark as you want but only on the rear windows and back seat side windows. the passenger side window and driver side is illegal to tint. alot of people tint them anyways and it really depends on the cop. most cops dont really bother but if you have the front side windows really dark as in like 20% transparent then they gonna mess with you. mine is only 50% transparent so i haven't had anyone harass me yet. there that new real regarding exhaust, and it states the if its legal then have the sticker stating that its CARB legal. its also has to be less the 95 decibels in sound if its any higher then you could get fined. and if a cop gives you a ticket for you exhaust being too loud then you could take it to court and get set up with a sound test at one of them shops or something. if it proves to be less the 95 d then the ticket is waived. this new real from what i've read has made cops less stringent as to handing out tix cause now they have to go through all that hassle with testing and stuff just for a ticket. hope this helps.

dont listen to anyone that isn't from Maryland, and hasn't read the laws for the state.

You're going to have to do some of your own research. Dig into your states website, and start looking for the regulations.

well the tint is legal..35% here.....but the ehaust is the tricky part.....cuz even if i show the people doin the inspection wat the law says if they believe otherwise they still dont have ot sign off on it to say its legal...and its one of the things that u have ot have an inspection station check not jus any cop...wat really gets me is that i talked to a state police officer at the MVA and he said that watever shop i went to should only be checking for leaks and htat the cat hasn;t been tamperred with....no one at the shops is willintg to do just this and htey keep telling me to put the stock **** back on
