Default exact motor codes...

Very recently I purchased an EG with a stated integra type-r motor...the block is stamped B18c...the motor is equipped with a Mugen p28 ecu and revs to 9500rpms...so how high it revs will not solve this problem...what motor do i exactly have? it is, or at least i was told that it is a 1997 JDM integra type-r motor...is this true?...or is it the JDM integra SiR motor?...please excuse my ignorance but I am slightly frustrated with this missunderstanding...BTW yes, i have searched and searched very much...some sights claim the B18c to be the JDM integra SiR motor and other websites do not differentiate thier information on this engine block code and state them as such...EXAMPLE- b18c (gsr)...instead of completing the engine code as b18c1 or b18c5...thank you for all the help...an answer will bring me great peace of mind...

Yeah, check the head, I'm gonna say if it's a P73, then it's a ITR. If it's a P72, it's an Sir-G.

Chipped P28 is fine to run that motor, you're crazy.

I'm sorry but this information is incorrect.

I believe you. I've seen IMs stamped P73 though. I know that at least.
