engines
i have come to the final conclusion to pick the b18c1 for my crx, which is the 1994-2000 Acura Integra GS-R INFO: 16V 1.8L VTEC, it's not the type-r but it's not as expensive, it has more horses than the b16a2 and it puts out more torque at a lower rpm. what i would like to no is what would be the costs to install a turbo onto the b18c1?? what other modifications would i have to make to my engine to make it work proeprly and efficiently?? if u have the info i need please post it or post a place where i can get the info, thank you.

Hey, fancy engine, but true, not type-r.
Depending on how much boost you are thinking of running, re-sleeving the engine is always good, pistons, rods. Alot of people will bore the new sleeves aswell. The stock ones have a tendency to crack under high boost (13psi+ or so). Oh, but you did ask what you'd have to do to have it run effeciently...that stuff above is generally for adding more horses. But as far as effeciency goes (again depending on how much boost you run) tuning is a MUST. And a good tuner never hurts. I hate to tell you to search around these forumns, but you'll find tons of answers if you take the time to read threw them.
Regarding your question of mulah for a turbo. Man, take your pickings from e-bay to full-race.com it all depends on how much boost you wanna run and how much you got. But just for kicks, a good turbo kit from full-race i believe is 4000, and prob find them else where for 2000 easily i'm sure. But you always pay for what you get.
Hope i helped.
