engine won't stay on!!!

engine won't stay on!!!

Well this morning i went to go start my car and it started but wouldn't stay on. then i started it and held the gas at around 2500 rpms and let go and it stayed on.
it gave me a code 14(eacv) would you guys know what the problem might have been. It is not doing it anymore. just have to see till tmrw morning.
any clues?

it sounds to me more like a FITV because it only did it when the engine was cold in the morning, right? if it would have been the IACV i guess it would keept doing it hot or cold..... also it could be the IACV just dirty and that wouldn't let it maintain the idle on cold mornings.
