Default engine won't fire

i seemed to have found yet another problem in my recent engine rebuild. i just rebuilt my b16a with oversize ctr pistons and put it all back together and finally got the engine put back in the car and now it won't fire. i've checked just about everything that i can think of. i've got spark and fuel and i thought that maybe i may have gotten tdc messed up so i changed time 180 and still nothing. i do have so old fuel in the tank so i pumped most of it out and put high test fuel and still nothing. i've even went as far and spraying starting fluid in the intake to get it started and still nothing, it just sets and cranks. anyone have any ideas?

Are you positive you have the motor set at TDC when you installed the timing belt?

Are you getting any CELs?

i have check all the grounds and tomorrow i'm going to check a few more leads that some people told me about. as far as cel's the only ones i'm getting is o2 sensor because i haven't hooked it up yet other than that no cel's. i'm almost positive that it was set at tdc but also tomorrow i'm going to use a timing gun to make sure.

still no luck, engine won't turn over. every once in a while it'll fire but won't start. ! i was wondering if it's possible that because i don't yet have the alternator hooked up if that would keep the car from starting?

i have thrown two cel's. 1 is for the o2 sensor and the other one is 41 which is the Primary oxygen sensor heater. not sure that either one of these would not let the car start.

got the beast running yesterday, turns out it was a combination of stuff. first of i had a couple of sensors that were messed up and the timing was pretty far off. but she's running good now, can't wait to see how these new pistons fare.
