Default Engine loses power

Hello I bought this Honda Ex 2002 with vetec engine and manual transmission 2 weeks ago and i figured out that it needed a new transmission so i decided to change it and change the clutch, after the car was ready to go on street i drove it on the highway to get it ready for the emission test , the engine started to lose power and the steering wheel would hardly shake , i thought it has to do something with balancing so i fixed it and took it for another test but the problem wasnt fixed .. When the car is warm or hot .. The engine loses 80% of its power .. The car had no problems when i got it i drove it for an hour on the highway but the problem happened after changing the clutch and transmission .. It had an engine light with p0401. However, when i took the car from the mechanic i didnt see no engine lights and the mechanic never mentioned it and said he never found an engine light ( this is wiered ) .. The car would run good when its cold and also when it loses power i could hear something coming from the front sounds like falling down or like 2 pieces touching each other ... ANY clues guys

That's an EGR trouble code. Do a search for how to clean an EGR system. Maybe it's causing your problem.

I can't tell you how many times I have fixed one problem and had another unrelated problem surface immediately. I can't see how a transmission or clutch problem could cause the symptoms you describe. You've got a trouble code so start there.

Actually he's saying he has no more codes.

And since I agree that your problems seems totally unrelated to the transmission/clutch, there isn't much to go on.
