Default Engine Light at 3k

We just did a LS-Vtec swap in my 99 coupe (Si). When we first cranked it up as soon as it hit 3k it threw an engine light. So I drove it around a bit and this morning I reset the ecu again. Same results, right at 3k engine light came back on again. Im thinknig its just cause I dont have a knock sensor on the LS block. I know it will throw an engine light for no cat but it shouldnt do that for a few of driving it right. If anyone knows anything about this please write back. Also it doesent effect driveability, the car drives real good. Just kinda curious to see y the light is coming on.

Default Re: Engine Light at 3k (Boosted99Si)

i just shorted it out . It gave me code 23, which is indeed the knock sensor. How will this effect driveability, also take into mind im getting hondata installed in about 1 month. thanks again
