alright guys Im pretty sure I have some rods knocking in my 91 crx si (stock d16) but im missing some sensors on the fire wall to the left of the throttle body and to the right of the fuses. what sensors are these? or would it just be knocking?

 

Is it knock from the bottom end? Pull out plug wires one by one to see if the knock goes away... if it does, then you sir have rod knock.

 

Is rod knock necissarily bad?

Usually a spun rod bearing, catch it early enough and you won't damage your crank. w00t.

very bad.

 

nah pulling the plug wires didnt help. plus the car wont stay running long enough to check them all one after another
