Default seized up tranny

i forgot to put oil in my ls tranny and it got seized up and everything is like stuck and some how by pushing it it broke lose. theres some metal shavings when i took the drain plug out. i put some mtf in it and drove around my neighborhood and it felt fine. so i was wondering is it worth taking the risk and drive it to work or should i swap out the tranny. im still on probation for my job and i dont want to be late.

Then you better catch the bus....fast.

I don't think I'd try and drive the car knowing what you did and what you saw - I'd tear it down first.
