Default Engine Knocking>after ECU chipped Kenji

Guys,

I ordered a P28 chipped for my JDM ITR 99, with I/E/H

I got it from Kenji, all ok.

Now that i installed it, it knocks a lot.I took it out and put oem p73 back.

Kenji told me aslong as our gas here is 91 octane it should be ok and not Knock.

I am in Curacao, here they sell "95 unleaded",but a lot of people here think and say that our gas is very bad, not to be compared to any gas in the USA,Europe etc.

What do you guys recommend , i am at 18 degrees timing, which was ok for this ECU as well.

1> Try this with Racing fuel C112,C117 or 103, Which i can get VP fuel here on island

Regards,

Rishi

Perfect ECU, works good with pumpgas and mixture of C12 and 103.

Pumpgas i had in tank was old, car standing for month, i drained it, and add new pumpgas, no problems after.

Regards,

R
