engine harness question... I searched!!!

Hi, to all... can i use a 2000 ex wire harness with a 98 d16y8 and a 98 p2p ecu? i search for a while and couldnt find the info... thanks

No you can't!!!
You can use a 2000 EX harness with a 1999-2000 ECU, but you cannot use a 2000 harness with an ecu earlier than 1999.

Why?? Because of the plugs thjat the ecu used at the ecu end of the harness. There is 1 different plug between the 1996-1998 as compared to the 1999-2000 ecu's

You can check out the Hondata sight which will illustrate the difference between the obd2a and obd2b ecu's
