Default Engine debate (big blocks)

So, I've seen the question asked why would hate on an f23. I then asked myself that question. I love my f23, if it blows it's gonna be a Frankenstein h22 head swap. Everyone says that it's a long stroke engine and it doesn't turn very high or produce good horsepower. It's great for torque, but no more than that. Now tell me why the k24 can turn so high. The k24 has a 99mm stroke 1:1.137 bore/stroke ratio, f23 has a 96mm stroke with a 1:1.116 ratio. The k24 is a heck of a lot more of a long stroke engine it seems to me (I didn't factor in compression looking back on this).
What do they use on the strip. I know the k24 is popular. Are k24s destroked? I know many are bored over, but how would it be much better than a f23 with a h22 head, dis, bored to 2.45l, and compression is boosted?
Looking again at other engines, the h22 seems like the best to use. 87mm borex90mm stroke, 10.5:1 compression, dohc. Revise the rotating assembly, ignition, etc and it could probably eat everything else's lunch. I know it's used on the strip but why would the k24 be better besides it's displacement?
I'm just thinking here, I wish I knew more on what's used on the strip and stuff. Tell me what your opinions are and point out my sources of error.

The K head has a better design, so it can flow more air, and use larger cams and valves etc compared to the H head.

That and there is much more support for the K. There are people still working on the H, but it is not as popular, so it gets less support.

Take a look at Cody's H, all-motor street record holder at 10.2 and dropping, but he is now using a K24 crank.
